What is the MFCL
The Mr. Falzata Champions League takes place in the depths of Mississauga. 25 of the best athletes in St. Joseph's Secondary School compete in a battle of honor. Every week, new captains are in charge of leading their team to victory where only one is crowned champion.
Our History
League commissioner and founder Maurizio Falzata has been taking on the responsibility of managing and producing content for the league since it's begginning in the early 2000s. The concept began as a way for Mr. Falzata, a Phys Ed. teacher, to spread his love for the game of football. The league quickly gained traction among the players and fans and today it is more popular than ever.
Represent Your Team
Every week new captains are selected, they must elect a team they wish to represent and then teams are drawn at random from the remaining pool of students. Each matchup consists of three games and the team with the highest aggregate score is the victor and gets the honor of lifting the trophy at the end of the week.
Our Cause
Anyone can enjoy the game of soccer. Our objective is to allow any student who wants to embark in a journey of self improvement full of laughs and smiles to do so in the MFCL.
